Supported Living supports a range of abilities from high support needs who require 24 hours a day support on a 1:1 basis (sometimes with additional hours on top) to those who require one or two hours of support a day or week.

Every Supported Living service is within the community and is either a housing association property, privately rented or owned by Autism Anglia. Services range from two – four adults in one property to those who prefer to live alone. Currently all our Supported Living homes are in Colchester, however, this does not mean new services cannot be opened in other areas, we are looking to expand into Norfolk.

Due to benefits, individuals do need to be 18 years of age and over to qualify for Supported Living.

Supported Living Vacancy 1

  • Vacancy for a female with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition.
  • 3 bedroom mid terrace house in Colchester close to public transport and town centre.
  • The home is currently staffed 24hours per day including a sleep in staff member.
  • The current lady in the property has a cat so anyone interested in the void must be ok with cats.
  • Not suitable for wheelchairs.
  • All three bedrooms are on the first floor with a communal bathroom which has a bath and overhead shower. Downstairs has a good size lounge with French doors leading to a quaint courtyard garden, kitchen and WC.
  • On road parking outside the property.
  • The home is private let.
  • This home is not suitable for anyone who may have behaviours which cause loud noises.

Supported Living Vacancy 2

  • Vacancy for a female or male with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Condition.
  • Current tenant is male.
  • 3 bedroom semi-detached house in Colchester, great bus links into town. Walking distance of local amenities.
  • The home is currently staffed 24 hours a day including a sleep in staff member.
  • Not suitable for wheelchairs.
  • There is a good size lounge/dining room with French doors going out into the garden, galley kitchen and a converted garage for a second reception room all on the ground floor. All three bedrooms and communal bathroom (with bath and overhead shower) on the first floor.
  • The home has a nice size garden with lawn and patio area, plus a communal shed. There is plenty of parking
  • on a private driveway and a nice front garden.
