Autism Anglia’s independent ‘Gold Standard’ diagnostic centre offers the following services:
We are an expert provider of NICE compliant Autism Diagnostic assessments, with a multi-disciplinary team of Speech and Language Therapists and Clinical Psychologists, who are qualified and experienced with a fantastic understanding of different profiles of autism and ADHD and have lived experience in the team.
We pride ourselves on our personalised approach for our gold-standard service, providing a named person to guide through the process.
Assessments are carried out using ADOS-2 and ADI-R diagnostic tools for autism and DIVA-5 for ADHD, alongside expert clinical opinion.
We've also expanded the service to include partnerships with regional NHS providers to assist with their waiting lists for adults and are a part of the NHS Choice Framework for adult autism assessment (also known as Patient Choice). For more information, please see our FAQ’s.
As this is an independent service, fees will apply unless referred via the NHS (i.e. patient choice referrals). The amount will be explained in the welcome pack and during your consultations. For more information, please email us at [email protected] or phone us on 01206 216476. You will receive the price of the service upon application.
Please note that we are primarily an assessment service. We can support you through the diagnostic process, but not with treatment and medication options following diagnosis, or post-diagnostic care beyond recommendations. These would need to be sought from your local NHS ADHD Service/accessed privately. We recommend that our assessment reports be used to facilitate access to NHS care for individuals.
A detailed report is provided whether or not there is an outcome of meeting diagnostic criteria.
“Contents of the report: so very detailed and made personal to me”
