Our Services 

Adult Services offer specialist support to adults aged 18 onwards within our Residential Services, Supported Living, Outreach Programme and Opportunity Centres in Essex and Norfolk. Our holistic approach encourages adults to develop new skills, create opportunities and build confidence to live more independently in the community. It is the aim of Adult Services to ensure the changing needs of service users are recognised and every person lives in housing specifically suited to their needs and wishes.  Please watch our video below.

CQC Ratings

We strive to provide and develop a range of services and life opportunities for adults with autism which are specialised, of high quality and well resourced. We continually seek to improve and provide models of good practice which are nationally recognised. All our services are independently inspected by and are fully compliant with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). All of our registered care homes have a 'Good' rating - reports can be found here.

Positive Behaviour Support 

Our overall ethos follow a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework, which are rooted in person centred values, aiming to increase personal skills and competence whilst placing emphasis on respect for the individual. The employment of our own Multi Disciplinary Team (Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Clinical Psychologist) and the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team show our commitment to these values.

Supporting the Individual

All of our services focus on supporting the individual, encouraging independence, choice and compatibility. We will endeavour to match staff to the needs of those who we support, considering personality and interests. We listen to and encourage those we support to have goals and aspirations and will continually seek out employment opportunities.

Supported Living Void 1

  • Vacancy for a female with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition.
  • 3 bedroom end terrace house in Colchester close to public transport and close to town centre.
  • The home is currently staffed 24 hours per day including a night wake staff member.
  • Not suitable for wheelchair access.
  • All bedrooms are on the first floor with a communal bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Downstairs has a very modern lounge, kitchen diner, third small reception room and a WC. The home has a good sized garden which is mostly lawn with communal shed. The home has a private driveway with a front garden.
  • The home is a housing association home with Colne Housing as landlords.
  • This home is not suitable for anyone who may have behaviours which cause loud noises.

Supported Living Void 2

  • Void for a female with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition.
  • 3 bedroom mid terrace house in Colchester close to public transport and town centre.
  • The home is currently staffed 24hours per day including a sleep in staff member.
  • The current lady in the property has a cat so anyone interested in the void must be ok with cats.
  • Not suitable for wheelchairs.
  • All three bedrooms are on the first floor with a communal bathroom which has a bath and overhead shower. Downstairs has a good size lounge with French doors leading to a quaint courtyard garden, kitchen and WC.
  • On road parking outside the property.
  • The home is private let.
  • This home is not suitable for anyone who may have behaviours which cause loud noises.

Supported Living Void 3

  • Void for a female or male with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Condition.
  • Current tenant is male.
  • 3 bedroom semi-detached house in Colchester, great bus links into town. Walking distance of local amenities.
  • The home is currently staffed 24 hours a day including a sleep in staff member.
  • Not suitable for wheelchairs.
  • There is a good size lounge/dining room with French doors going out into the garden, galley kitchen and a converted garage for a second reception room all on the ground floor. All three bedrooms and communal bathroom (with bath and overhead shower) on the first floor.
  • The home has a nice size garden with lawn and patio area, plus a communal shed. There is plenty of parking
  • On a private driveway with a nice front garden.
  • The home is private let.
