Originally the woodwork department, the workshop now offers more opportunities.
We work with different materials, as well as with wood, to create individual and personalised woodwork and craft projects.
People also have the opportunity to work on other tasks, such as helping with maintenance and small building projects around the building and grounds of the centre
We are also now running a horticulture offshoot from the workshop, allowing people from all of the centre's departments to access our two allotments plots. This project is working very well and may in the future develop into a planned activity in its own right.

The Team

This is Warren Cocker, our Centre's Workshop Instructor. He has worked for our organisation, Autism Anglia, since May 1999. Warren used to run our P.E. activities before taking up his current role. As well as running the workshop, Warren is the centre's senior instructor.

This is David Perryman, he is a Workshop Instructor and is also leading our new allotment project, which takes place on an allotment near to our centre.

David has been a member of the Jigsaw team since February 2013.
