Food Museum

Provide a number of learning experiences and activities for youth groups such as outdoor campfire cooking, bread making and baking in our bread oven, nature journaling, meeting the animals on site, foraging for wild foods, mini beast hunts and coming soon, a forest school.

Leading Lives

Leading Lives Night Hub activities are chilled-out youth groups for young people (13-24) who are autistic or have learning disabilities. Night Hub runs from 6-8pm during term-time and provides the opportunity for young people to take part in fun activities, try new things or simply hang out with their friends. 

Also testing out a fun club held at our Lowestoft Community Hub on the last Saturday of each month for 13-19-year-olds who are autistic or who have learning disabilities. The club runs from 10am-3pm and offers a range of exciting activities throughout the day so young people can learn new skills and build friendships.

Chronic Fatiguers Unite

Suffolk based group, who provides support, understanding, and friendship to those who have Chronic Fatigue conditions or similar conditions including those affected by long Covid.

Communitea Chinwag

Social group for the over 60's - offer free refreshments, entertainment, activities, and plenty of chat. An opportunity for all regardless of their interests, challenges, mental health, physical difficulties and caring status.

Fairview Farm

Fairview Farm is a day provision for young people aged 16 – 30 who have disabilities or difficulties.

Green Light Trust

Step by Step is their day service for adults with additional needs. This is a long-term program where participants can come and spend the day, looking after chickens, gardening, growing fruit and veg, woodwork and many other activities. The trust occasionally offers short, funded courses running in their woods for adults with additional needs. These courses offer participants a chance to learn how to light fires, learn to use basic woodworking tools and some basic woodland management skills.

Friendly and inclusive social group for adults 16+ who are affected by mental health issues. Their social group offers friendship, support, understanding and a listening ear.

The Befriending Scheme

Provide friendship and learning opportunities for vulnerable people (16 and over years old) including those with disabilities, mental health needs, older people, and other isolated groups. Also, provide volunteering opportunities with extra support.
