• The £50 payment for screening is refundable only for clients who progress with our service onto assessment, and will be deducted from the invoice for the assessment appointments.
• The screening questionnaires and breakdown of results are not a formal diagnosis. They are indicators of the presence or absence of characteristics associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the impact on day to day life.
• Autism Anglia will conduct eligibility and risk assessment checks before deciding to place clients on the waiting list.
• Completing the online screens can at times feel overwhelming as it explores a person’s difficulties, alongside their strengths. It would be worth thinking of people that you can talk to or who will support you, such as family, friends or professionals.
• Other questionnaires may be required further through the assessment period with client consent e.g. from a teacher or informant. These will be co-ordinated by the diagnostic team without additional screening charge.
• Autism Anglia reserves the right to withdraw the offer of an individual assessment or close the service entirely, at our discretion.
