Dr Sarah Griffiths of the University of Cambridge, is a Research Associate on the ‘autism and vulnerability project’ which is funded by Autistica and the Autism Research Trust. Sarah will be talking about this project at our Conference & Information Day. The project involves working closely with the autism community to identify key areas of vulnerability in people’s lives and looking at the consequences of different types of vulnerability on mental health outcomes.

 

Dr Fiona Gullon Scott is a Consultant Chartered Psychologist with 25 years’ experience researching, training and doing clinical work with autism spectrum presentations. Fiona is currently a lecturer on the Clinical Psychology Doctorate at Newcastle University and an Associate Senior Lecturer with the Tizard Centre, University of Kent. Fiona will be talking at our Conference & Information Day about anxiety in autism and its various ways of presenting, possible underpinnings, current research and potential interventions. She will discuss anxiety in both children and adults.
