Joanna Howell
Director of Community Services
I have joined Autism Anglia as Director of Community Services, bringing extensive experience of working across SEND and public services. Before joining the charity, I worked in local government, leading services for children, young people and families and helping to shape support around individual need.
I am passionate about creating inclusive, person-centred services that make a meaningful difference. I believe the best services are developed by listening to individuals with autism, and their families, working in genuine partnership and challenging the barriers that can prevent people from getting the right support.
I am particularly interested in co-production, reducing inequalities and developing community services that are accessible, responsive and sustainable.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, paddleboarding and Pilates.
