Georgy Jamieson

Ambassador

Georgy Jamieson is a broadcaster, podcaster, writer and events host. She produces and presents the Audio Academy weekly podcast, where she loves talking to interesting people in the radio and audio industry. For many years, she was a presenter and producer with BBC Radio Suffolk and Norfolk, and she now has a Sunday show on Broadland Radio in Norfolk and North Suffolk.

As a writer, she regularly contributes articles for Yours Retro magazine and the British Comedy Guide on her favourite topic, classic British comedy. Live work includes hosting at local book and literary festivals, and interviewing people on stage, such as cricket broadcaster Henry Blofeld, journalist John Sergeant and comedian and actor John Cleese.

Georgy lives in Suffolk with her husband, son and cat, and Autism Anglia has a personal connection as her son was diagnosed with high-functioning autism aged 6 years. She is delighted to host the Autism Anglia Big Business Quiz and honoured to be an Ambassador for the charity.
