Introducing the region’s first evening online drop-in sessions for our community😎
We see you. 💖 You often see all these support groups online and would love to go along, but you’re a working family and so just don’t get the time to go or maybe your childcare or personal situation doesn’t allow you to venture out to events.
Well, we’re listening and we’ve launched another of our popular Community Connect drop-in sessions, but this time, online! 🥳
Our amazing team currently hold FREE regular daytime drop-in sessions in Colchester & North-East Essex for young people aged between 0-25 and their parents/guardians/carers. But this time, we’re going online in order to reach more people in our community.
We’ll be offering a friendly, safe space to receive practical advice and information on challenges such as:
💡Behaviours that may be hard to manage.
💡Obtaining support and moving between schools or big life changes.
💡Advice when applying for DLA (Disability living allowance) and PIP (Personal Independence payment).
What is more, we meet you where you are. So there’s no “silly questions”, nothing off topic, just a friendly supportive ear. Plus, everyone is welcome and you don’t even need to have an official diagnosis of autism or ADHD to book a session. 🙌
Please note: To ensure that everyone in attendance gets value from the session, individual time with our team will be limited to 15mins. Where a question or advice requires more time, you will have the opportunity to be referred to Community Connect for a full, 1-2-1 referral, and we will be back in touch after the event.
