Autism Anglia is looking to enhance their Fundraising and Communications Team with a dedicated Training & Event Organiser role.  You will be responsible for organising and coordinating our existing programme of CPD Accredited training courses, conferences and information days for parents and professionals across East Anglia, as well as developing new ways to generate income for Autism Anglia.

This role is crucial to increasing Autism Anglia’s income streams, reaching new audiences and raising the profile of the Charity.  

With a flair for organisation, our ideal candidate will be a professional and enthusiastic self-starter who can create a programme of inspiring events to significantly promote Autism Anglia’s status in the region.

As part of a friendly and dynamic team your main duties will include:

  • Managing the full training process (planning, budgets, marketing, bookings and successful delivery) of our existing programme of external training events for parents and professionals. 
  • Being the first point of contact for all external training enquiries.
  • Working with existing presenters to develop and coordinate new training opportunities.
  • Developing new and creative events to generate income and raise the charity’s profile. 

Experience:

  • Experience of planning, managing and executing public events to budget and timescale - essential
  • Engaging, creative and effective all-round communicator  - essential
  • Excellent time management and administration skills  – essential  

Candidates will need to demonstrate past success and will be expected to have case studies to share at interview.

The successful candidate will require an enhanced DBS check.
