1. Definitions
In the context of these terms and conditions, the following words shall have the following meanings:
"Autism Anglia" is a charity registered under number 1063717 and a company limited by guarantee registered under number 3407778, having its registered office at Century House, Riverside Office Centre, North Station Road, Colchester, CO1 1RE.
"the Website" means any website under the ownership or control of Autism Anglia from which a link has been created to these terms and conditions;
"the Material" means all of the information, data, text, graphics, links or computer code published on, contained or available on the Website;
"User" means the individual, firm, company or organisation accessing this website or making an Order;

2. Applicable terms and conditions
The Website is owned by Autism Anglia and any use made of this site (including registrations and donations made via the Website), are subject to these terms and conditions. Autism Anglia may, at its sole discretion, modify or revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating the text of this page.

3. Use of the Website
Anyone is entitled to view any non-password protected parts of the Website and to use for their own purposes the information contained therein, provided:
3.1 it is used for information purposes only, for reproduction for personal use only and not for reproduction on any other website or for commercial gain.
3.2 any links created to the Website are notified to and approved by Autism Anglia before they are created.
3.3 no part of the Website is copied, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means to any third party without the written permission of Autism Anglia.

4.1 Copyright in the Material is owned by Autism Anglia or its content suppliers. Unauthorised use of the Material including reproduction, storage, modification, distribution or republication without the prior written consent of Autism Anglia or, where applicable, the respective copyright owner(s) is prohibited.
4.2 The names and logos of Autism Anglia and all related product and service names, designs marks and slogans are the trade names, service marks or trade marks of Autism Anglia and may not be used without the prior consent of Autism Anglia.
4.3 All works in the nature of databases attract database rights.

The website is intended to provide general information only and, as such, should not be considered as a substitute for advice covering any specific situation. So far as permissible by law, Autism Anglia does not accept any liability to any person relating to the use of any such information.

6. Forums
6.1.    By accessing the Forum you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the Forum Terms of Use. Autism Anglia may alter the Forum Terms of Use from time to time so you should periodically check these as any changes will take effect as soon as they are posted to this website. Your continued accessing of the Forum will be deemed acceptance of any updated or amended terms. If you do not agree to these Forum Terms of Use do not access, use or contribute to this site.

6.2.    The majority of the content posted in the Forum is created by Forum members. The views and opinions expressed are those of Forum members and unless specifically stated are not those of Autism Anglia, who cannot be responsible for any content posted by members.

6.3.    You agree to only use this Forum for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of this Forum. You must not use the Forum for any criminal, illegal or unauthorised purpose. In accessing and contributing to the Forum you agree to be bound by the following rules.

Your contributions to the Forum:

(a)    are lawful, tasteful, constructive and polite
(b)    do not infringe any UK laws
(c)    are not indecent, offensive, defamatory, obscene or abusive. In particular your contributions must not make any offensive comments that are connected to race, religion, social class, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation or disability
(d)    are not intimidating, threatening, harassing, bullying, mocking or of such nature so as to cause upset, distress or inconvenience to any person, or posted with the intention of upsetting others
(e)    are not misleading
(f)    do not endanger yourself or others
(g)    do not contain any illegal content, including but not limited to content committing or promoting an illegal act
(h)    do not constitute spamming
(i)    do not knowingly cause the transmission of any viruses, bugs, worms or any other computer software code of a destructive nature or adverse effect
(j)    are not advertising or promotional (except within the specific description of a topic or thread)
(k)    do not contain off-topic material
(l)    do not contain languages other than English
(m)    do not include profanity or any obscene, indecent, pornographic, sexual or otherwise objectionable content or language
(n)    do not contain links or references to websites which contain material of the type prohibited from inclusion in the Forum by these Forum Terms of Use
(o)    are your own original work and do not infringe the rights of any third party
(p)    do not include (i) images of nude adults; (ii) images of children under the age of 18 years; (iii) images showing illegal or dangerous activity or material; and/or (iv) images that a reasonable individual might find offensive, indecent and/or otherwise objectionable
(q)    where permitted images have been uploaded, the express permission of any individual identifiable in the image must be obtained prior to the image being uploaded   
(r)    do not reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (including but not limited to full name, address, telephone number, email address or any other information from which you can be personally identified)
(s)    are only uploaded in one area of the Forum

Any contribution which references medical and/or healthcare information should not be acted upon in the absence of, and is not a substitute for, advice provided by a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional. Always consult with a doctor or qualified healthcare professional.

You agree to Autism Anglia contacting you by e-mail for administrative or verification purposes in relation to your contribution.

6.4.    Where members post links or references to other websites maintained by third parties over whom Autism Anglia has no control, Autism Anglia is not responsible for any content of any third party websites. Any links to third party websites from the Forum do not amount to any endorsement of that website by Autism Anglia and any use of that website by you is at your own risk.

6.5.    The posting of content to the Forum is restricted to registered members only. Membership is restricted to residents of the UK who are aged 18 years or older, who have registered at with a valid personal email address that is regularly accessed so that moderation emails can be sent. Autism Anglia reserves the right to close accounts in its absolute discretion.

6.6.    Your Forum member details are personal to you. You agree not to allow others to access the Forum using your access details. In addition, you agree not to create any additional accounts for the purpose of abusing the functionality of the site, other users, seeking to pass yourself off as another user or undertaking any activity in breach of these Forum Terms of Use.

6.7.    Autism Anglia may, without prior notice, suspend or terminate a registered member's account at any time if, in its absolute discretion, it considers the member to be in breach of any of these Forum Terms of Use and may, in its absolute discretion, decline any person access to and use of the Forum.

6.8.    If you reasonably consider that any contribution breaches these Forum Terms of Use, you must notify us immediately by contacting  with the following information:

(a)    your contact details, including name, address, telephone number and e-mail address;
(b)    a description of the contribution you believe to be in breach and sufficient information to permit Autism Anglia to locate the contribution; and
(c)    a brief statement as to why you believe the contribution to be in breach.

6.9.    Autism Anglia reserve the right (but assume no obligation), at its sole discretion and convenience, to edit or delete content that it considers unacceptable or inappropriate, or for any other reasons, which Autism Anglia need not disclose, without notice. Autism Anglia's decision is final.

6.10.    By submitting contributions to the Forum (including but not limited to text, images, photographs, video and audio) you agree to grant to Autism Anglia an irrevocable, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use the content of your contributions in any format for any purpose, including but not limited to marketing and promotional purposes. This includes a right to modify, edit, crop, highlight and/or republish the content of your contributions.

6.11.    You can deregister from the Forum and remove your profile and/or contributions from the Forum at any time by contacting with your name, user name and email address telling us that you would like to de-register. To remove a contribution please provide details of the contribution that you wish to remove together with your name, user name and email address.

6.12.    Autism Anglia does not warrant that the use of this service will be uninterrupted, error free or free of any viruses, bugs or anything which may have destructive properties. In accessing and using the Forum you agree that it is your responsibility to take and implement sufficient precautions in this respect.

6.13.    Autism Anglia reserves the right to amend, modify, suspend or terminate the Forum for any reason, without notice at any time.

6.14.    To the extent that any provisions of these Forum Terms of Use are held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, then such provisions shall be severed and deleted without affecting the enforceability of the remaining provisions.

6.15.    The Forum and its contents are intended to comply with English laws and is only intended for use by UK residents. These Forum Terms of use and your use of the Forum shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Forum.

7. Target audience
The Website is intended for use by UK residents and only in relation to their activities within the UK. It may be dangerous to apply any of the information on the Website to activities outside the UK.
Autism Anglia does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via the Website is accurate, complete or correct. Autism Anglia has no liability whatsoever in respect of any use which you make of such information except in the case of personal injury or death caused by the negligence of Autism Anglia.
The information provided on this Website has not been written to meet individual requirements and it is your sole responsibility to satisfy yourself prior to using the information in any way for your purposes. 8. Warranty and indemnity
The User warrants to Autism Anglia that it will not use the Website, the Material or any part thereof for any purpose that is in contravention of any applicable law or regulation or in a manner that will infringe the copyright, trademarks, service marks or other intellectual property rights of third parties or violate the privacy, publicity or other personal rights of others or in any defamatory, obscene, threatening, abusive or hateful manner. The User shall indemnify Autism Anglia, its employees and agents, harmless against all claims, liability, losses, damages and expenses including, without limitation, legal fees and costs arising out of or incurred as a result of any claims made, or litigation brought, against Autism Anglia, its employees and agents, as a result of the use by the User of the Website, the Material or any part thereof for whatever purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability
Autism Anglia hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions with regard to the Material and any goods or services supplied in relation to the Website, whether express or implied or statutory (including all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). In no event shall Autism Anglia be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damages whatsoever even if Autism Anglia has been advised of the possibility of damages including, without limitation, damages for loss of use, data or profits arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of the Website, interruptions or delays to the Website, the provision of or failure to provide services, or for any information, Material, goods and services obtained through the Website or otherwise arising out of the use of the Website, whether based on contract, tort or otherwise to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The Website contains links to websites operated by parties other than Autism Anglia. Such links are provided for the User's convenience only. Autism Anglia does not control such websites, and is not responsible for their content. Autism Anglia's inclusion of links to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators. The User is solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy and completeness of any information contained on the third party websites, and also the value and integrity of any goods and services offered by such websites.

11. Privacy and Data Protection
We will not share your data with any other organisation unless:
• we have your permission to do so as a result of you being in contact with us separate to this Website
• are required to do so by law

12. Viruses
Whilst Autism Anglia makes all reasonable attempts to exclude viruses from the website it cannot ensure such exclusion and no liability is accepted for damage caused through the downloading of viruses. Therefore, you are recommended to take all appropriate safeguards before downloading information from the Website.

13. On-line Transactions
Autism Anglia reserves the right to vary event registration fees and the prices of any goods or services listed without notice. All event registrations and orders for goods or services are subject to availability and Autism Anglia reserves the right to refuse to accept any registration and to refuse to supply any goods or services to any individual.

14. Encryption
Although the Website uses encryption security software in areas where on line payment details are accepted, the security of information and payments transmitted via the Internet cannot be guaranteed. Any loss incurred or sustained by any User who transmits information by means of e-mail or other Internet links shall be borne solely and exclusively by such User and in no event shall any such loss in whole or part be borne by Autism Anglia or it's agents.

15. Force majeure
Autism Anglia shall not be held to be in breach of its obligations hereunder nor liable to the User for any loss or damage which may be suffered by another party due to any cause beyond its reasonable control including without limitation any act of God, fire, storm, flood, lightening, disease, strike, trade dispute, act of terrorism, any act or omission of government or regulatory bodies or communications operators.

16. General
16.1 If any provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
16.2 These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Autism Anglia and the User and supercede all other (prior or contemporaneous) communications and proposals, whether electronic or written, between the User and Autism Anglia.
16.3 Any failure of Autism Anglia to exercise or enforce any of its rights under these terms and conditions shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such rights or operate so as to bar the subsequent exercise or enforcement or any such rights.

17. Jurisdiction
The terms and conditions and the use by the User of the Website shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in all disputes arising out of or relating to the Website and/or any transactions made on the Website, or these terms and conditions.
