Welcome to Autism Anglia’s private Diagnostic Service and thank you for choosing to use our online pre-assessment screens for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

What do I do now?

Please click on each of the links below, as they will take you to a different webpage for each screening questionnaire. These should be the appropriate screen questionnaires for the age group of the person being assessed.

It will take time to complete these screening questionnaires, but please make sure you complete all of the questionnaires you have been sent. You don’t have to complete all of the screening questionnaires in one sitting, but do make sure you complete one screen at a time.

Before you start, please make sure you have the security word that we sent you previously. You will be asked to enter that word in the Personal Information section of every screen as it is unique to the person being assessed.

Parents/carers should complete and submit all of the screens below:

Child AQ ages 4-11

Child EQ-SQ ages 4-11

CAST ages 4-17

Parent/Carer SDQ ages 4-17

What happens next?

Once we have received all of your screening questionnaires, we will score your data and email you back with the outcome. The email will state whether or not the screens have passed the threshold for assessment with our service.

It is important to note that the screening questionnaires are not a formal diagnosis. They are simply screening measures, which indicate the presence or absence of characteristics associated with ASD and the impact on day to day life. A person can meet the screening threshold, but then not receive an ASD diagnosis during formal assessment. Equally, a person may not meet the threshold, but later be formally diagnosed with ASD.

The diagnostic process, including completing the online screens, can at times feel overwhelming as it explores a person’s difficulties, alongside their strengths. Whilst Autism Anglia offer support through this process, it would be worth thinking of other people that you can talk to or who will support you, such as family, friends or professionals.

If you have any questions, then please email us. We look forward to receiving your submitted screens.

Best wishes

The Autism Anglia Diagnostic Team
