Autism Anglia is excited to announce the return of Neurofantastic to Colchester! Neurofantastic is a family event celebrating autism and creativity with live music, poetry, and art from autistic creatives and people inspired by autism! After his storming set at last year’s event, we can't wait for the return of singer Daniel Wakeford! Daniel rose to fame on Channel 4’s hit show The Undateables and has since launched a successful singing career, not to mention gaining a cult following along the way. Daniel will be joined by a live band to form ‘The Daniel Wakeford Experience’. We also look forward to welcoming Dean Beadle. Dean has formed a highly successful career speaking about his own personal experience as someone on the autism spectrum. For this event, Dean will don his singing cap and will be rocking out to some of the top hits from the 80’s. The event will also offer a host of other performers and spoken word artists across two stages, including Colchester’s own singer Imoni, ‘Emotional Poet’ Mary-Ann Ambrose and an art exhibition, which will display works by individuals on the autism spectrum. We will host a selection of stalls offering autism information, selling merchandise, crafts, and comics; plus there will be a sensory room for those who might need a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle of the main event.
