Autism Anglia has an exciting position available within its Fundraising and Communications team. You will be responsible for engaging with existing and potential supporters of Autism Anglia, and using a variety of methods (events, corporate support, legacies, collections etc) to raise funds for the Charity. The role will also include developing new avenues and initiatives for raising funds and promoting our work to the public.  

As an engaging, creative and effective all-round communicator, you will work as part of a friendly and dynamic team. Your main duties will include: 

  • To communicate with and encourage fundraisers in their efforts to support Autism Anglia, and to accurately record and acknowledge their support.
  • Assisting with and attending events to raise awareness of and funds for Autism Anglia.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with corporate donors.
  • Management and development of the charity’s Annual Membership scheme.
  • Using Social Media to promote our events and the efforts of our fundraisers.


  • IT literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook etc) – essential
  • Well-organised, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy - essential
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) grade A-C – essential
  • Experience of working with a CRM database - desirable
  • Experience of fundraising or working with a membership scheme – desirable 

The successful applicant will require basic criminal records check and it is essential that you are able to drive and have access to a car
