As part of our Facilities and Health and Safety Team this role will provide onsite maintenance support for Autism Anglia’s Norfolk properties based in Norwich and Dereham. 

Primarily you will be responsible for general maintenance, grounds and decoration across the sites in Norfolk. You will have regular contact with the Facilities Manager to ensure the correct monitoring of planned work and available budgets. You will also have responsibility for completion of the maintenance log and conducting health and safety checks including reporting any issues. 

To be successful in this role you will have experience of general property and/or grounds maintenance in a similar role and you will have a good understanding of health and safety principles and maintaining safe environments to work in. Although not essential, it would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of risk assessments and COSH regulations and a background in either health and social care or 3rd sector. It is essential that the successful applicant holds a full driving licence, a small van will be provided to carry out your duties.
