We are looking for an inspiring and passionate individual to lead our three Norfolk residential services and Opportunity Centre. 

You will oversee the Registered Managers on these three sites and be responsible for the operational and strategic direction of each service.  Working with the Director of Adult Services, you will Evaluate, Realign, Develop and Enhance the services as required, in accordance with the Organisation’s Strategic Plan, working towards expansion into Supported Living and Outreach provisions; and overseeing these new provisions on completion. 

You will report directly to and support the Director of Adult Services in relation to the day to day operational and strategic management of the division.  Leading and positively influencing the managers and staff to ensure exceptional care and safe running of the Norfolk services. 

There is a need to work flexibly across both Essex and Norfolk Adult Services as required, ensuring a consistent approach, working closely with the Regional Service Manager in Essex. 

In order to be successful in this role you will have the following key skills and experience: 

  • Exceptional understanding of autism and the skill to work with individuals with an autism spectrum condition - Essential
  • Experience of managing at a senior level within Adult Services - Essential
  • Level 4 or 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent - Essential
  • Experience of leading, managing and improving the effectiveness of service delivery – Essential
  • Able to accurately interpret and implement legislation and good practice guidelines - Essential
  • Experience of writing and developing policies and procedures - Essential
