Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum, mileage will be claimed via expenses within the first six months, followed by a review and the potential for a car or car allowance (on successful completion of probationary period)

Autism Anglia are seeking to appoint a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide a broad range of PBS services to adults with autism, many of whom also have learning disabilities and /or mental health conditions.

Applications from those who are currently working towards, or have recently gained, a university level qualification in positive behaviour support are welcome. We are looking for someone who can carry out functional behavioural assessments, devise and implement PBS plans, oversee debriefing and incident analysis processes also with experience of providing formal training and mentoring to fully embed the principles of PBS within our services. The ability to assess the needs of people who are referred to our services and provide input into transition planning and implementation is essential, as is the ability to maintain a positive outlook and a flexible approach.

You will work to set up and maintain proactive systems as part of our adult services multi-disciplinary team which includes Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical Psychology, restrictive physical intervention instructors and data analysis to ensure that the best quality of life outcomes are achieved for the people we support.

This post covers the East of England and we can be flexible around location with the ability to work within services, at our Head Office and part home working. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle will be essential.
