Salary: £18,000-£21,000 per annum dependent on experience

In this exciting and newly created role, you will work closely with key stakeholders to create opportunities for volunteering bringing benefits for the charity and the people that we support and providing enriching and rewarding experiences for our volunteers. 

You will be responsible for the full administration and coordination of the volunteer function including recruitment campaigns, interviewing and onboarding and ensuring that we engage, recognise and value our volunteers.  

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to establish effective working relationships and will be a passionate advocate for volunteering.   You will have a creative and enthusiastic approach to creating volunteer role opportunities, excellent organisational skills and be skilled in administrative tasks as well as having a very good standard of IT skills in Microsoft packages and use of social media.  You will work closely with the Training Manager and Fundraising and Community Engagement Manager to plan your work priorities whilst being able to work autonomously. 

Ideally, you will have experience of working in a volunteer coordinator role, recruitment or undertaking voluntary work through community projects or organised schemes such as NCS or Princes Trust.   It would be advantageous to have a background or knowledge in 3rd Sector organisations.  We are committed towards training and supervision, continuing professional development and internal promotion.  We welcome applications from individuals who share our values for excellence and quality, placing care at the centre of everything we do.
