Salary: £32k - £36k (pro rata) plus company car 

Permanent Part-time: 30 hours per week (4 days per week) 

Maternity Cover Part-time: 22.5 hours per week (3 days per week)

We are looking for inspiring and passionate individuals to lead our Adult Services provision as we enter a new management approach and structure. 

These new roles will jointly manage across our residential, supported living, outreach services and Opportunity Centres. 

You will oversee and be responsible for the operational and strategic management of each service.  Working with the Director of Adult Services, you will evaluate, realign, develop and enhance the services in accordance with the Organisation’s Strategic Plan, working towards the development of our Supported Living and Outreach provisions and overseeing these new provisions on completion. 

You will report directly to and support the Director of Adult Services in relation to the day to day operational and strategic management of the division.  Leading and positively influencing the managers and staff to ensure exceptional care and safe running of our services based on secure financial management. 

There is a need to work flexibly across both Essex and Norfolk Adult Services ensuring a consistent approach, with both Area Managers working closely together. 

In addition to have having experience of managing at a senior level, you will hold a Level 4 or 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).  You will also have experience of writing and developing policies and procedures, interpreting and implementing legislation and good practice guidelines and been involved in leading, managing and improving the effectiveness of service delivery.  Most importantly, you will have exceptional understanding of and ability to work with individuals with an autism spectrum condition. 

The Area Manager position and locality of role will be dependent on the skills and experience of the candidate.  This will be mutually agreed if you should be successful.
