This is a fantastic opportunity to work with the PBS and Therapy Team of a well-established charity. Autism Anglia provides ongoing training and supervision, continuing professional development and support, as well as an extensive induction on commencement of employment.

Adult Services are looking to appoint a Wellbeing Practitioner who will be integral in developing and implementing a broad range of wellbeing services for adults with autism, many of whom also have learning disabilities and /or mental health conditions.

Your main duties will include:

  • Applying a biopsychosocial approach, you will assess the wellbeing needs of the people we support across Adult Services, identifying any risks and/or safeguarding concerns related to their mental health and wellbeing. You will have the required skills and knowledge to signpost and refer individuals to pertinent external statutory/and or private services as needed.
  • Working collaboratively with our specialist PBS and Therapy Team you will design, deliver and evaluate interventions for the adults we support which aim to improve mental health and well-being, build on existing strengths and increase levels of resilience to ensure that the best quality of life outcomes are achieved for the people we support.


  • You will have experience of designing and delivering staff training as this will be a key focus of the role to empower staff to deliver person centred care which meets the wellbeing needs of the people we support.
  • We are ideally looking for someone who holds an RMN (or equivalent) qualification and has completed or is due to complete an accredited IAPT course.
