Autism Anglia is excited to announce the launch of an Autism Diagnostic Service. The service will open on Tuesday 5th November 2019 within a new, purpose-built Diagnostic Centre, located at Doucecroft School in Colchester, Essex.

The service will:

  • Provide a diagnostic service for adults and children (aged 3 years and upwards) who are seeking a private diagnosis of autism.
  • Offer a comprehensive assessment, adhering to NICE ‘gold standard’ guidelines by a multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Dr Sarah Clayton (Clinical Psychologist) and Katherine Wright MSc. (Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist).
  • Cost £1500 for adults and £1750 for children
  • Include a comprehensive detailed report and signposting to appropriate services as part of the fee
  • Employ the skills of highly qualified clinicians who are trained in the use of diagnostic assessment tools of the highest sensitivity and specificity: ADOS2 and ADI-R.
