We are pleased to be able to offer our supporters Information Days and Conferences throughout the year, at extremely competitive prices, with discounts available to Autism Anglia members.

The purpose of our events is to give professionals, parents and autistic individuals the opportunity to come together and listen to speakers on various subjects, meet lots of relevant and informative organisations and have the chance to chat to mutual delegates and build a network of support that is relevant to each individual.

Past Information Days have been held in Ipswich, Norwich and Great Yarmouth, with Colchester combining its Neurofantastic events with information stalls. These events tend to combine information talks and/or advice sessions, with various stallholders from the region specialising in autism support, or promoting autistic friendly events. At this type of event, tickets can be purchased as a full day or half day ticket.

Conferences have been held in Colchester and these have been aimed at both professionals and parents, or individuals, who have an interest in learning more about a particular aspect of autism. At this type of event, tickets tend to be available as a full day ticket.

In 2018, we have already held an Information Sharing Day on the 8th March at the Theatre Royal, Norwich, with a focus on Women and autism, which was a great success.

We intend to host another event in the Autumn in Essex, so watch this space and follow us on Facebook, or sign up to our e-news, to keep up to date with the latest information about our plans.

There is a wealth of knowledge and support in our region and these events provide the ideal opportunity to access these organisations and networks. We always welcome your feedback on these events so that we can continue to improve and shape our future events, to better meet your needs.

For professionals seeking training on autism, we offer CPD accredited ‘Uniqueness of Autism’ courses throughout the region. These courses are also relevant and useful for parents and others working with autistic individuals.

If you would like to speak with us about future events, please contact us.
