This summer, we are inviting everyone across our communities and beyond to take on a challenge that works around their Summer Holiday plans and makes a real difference to autistic people and their families at the same time.
Introducing The Big Summer Stomp for Autism 2026. ☀️👟
And The best part? You can do it your way.
Whether you walk, jog, wheel, hike, skip, stroll, or stomp, this is your chance to get moving, enjoy the summer, and raise vital funds to support SEN families across our communities.
Not everyone wants to jump out of a plane or run a marathon. Sometimes the most meaningful challenges are the ones that fit around everyday life.
That’s exactly what The Big Summer Stomp for Autism is all about.
Instead of a fixed route, location, or event date, we’re encouraging people to complete a 5K challenge in a way that suits them throughout the summer.
Ideas include:
However you choose to take part, every step helps support autistic people and families across East Anglia.
For many SEN families, finding support can feel really overwhelming.
Families often tell us they feel like they’re going around in circles trying to access information, advice, and practical help. Long waiting lists, confusing systems, and uncertainty can leave them feeling isolated and exhausted.
And that’s where we step in. 🩷
Through services such as our Community Connect team, adult support services, and community projects and support programmes, we help autistic people and their loved ones find the guidance, understanding, and opportunities they deserve.
And so funds raised through The Big Summer Stomp for Autism will help us continue delivering this vital support and reach even more families across the region.
One of the most powerful things about this challenge is its simplicity and every participant will be making a stand, taking the same message into their community:
“No family should have to face their challenges alone”.
The Big Summer Stomp for Autism has been designed to be as inclusive as possible.
You don’t need specialist equipment. You don’t need to complete it in a particular location. You don’t need previous fundraising experience. You simply choose a way to move that works for you and get started.
For those wanting to take part as a group, there are lots of ways to acheive this. Participants may choose to take part:
Everyone is welcome.
Summer is often a time for making memories, spending time outdoors, and enjoying new experiences.
By joining The Big Summer Stomp for Autism, you’re combining all of those things with the chance to create meaningful change for others.
Every sponsorship page shared, every donation received, and every kilometre completed helps us continue our mission to support and celebrate autistic people and their families.
It’s an opportunity to challenge yourself, have fun, and give something back at the same time.
