This workshop is designed for parents and family members of someone with Autism, it’s an opportunity to explore what social vulnerability is, why someone with autism is more likely to be at risk of social vulnerability and what support strategies can support against social vulnerability. The workshop will also aim to give parents and family members knowledge of strategies such as social modelling as well as what support services are available to individuals on the spectrum.  Workshops Objectives: 

  • Understand what social vulnerability is 
  • Understand why someone with autism is more likely to be at risk of social vulnerability 
  • Understand strategies to support against social vulnerability 
  • Understand the use of social modelling and available support services to help reduce the risks of social vulnerability to someone with autism
