We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail as well as IT skills, to assist with all the administration of our Autism Diagnostic Service. You will be responsible for responding to client enquiries, accurately recording client information, filing, analysing and processing pre-diagnostic screens, updating database/spreadsheet information and providing management information reports. You will have the opportunity of working within a specialist diagnostic team supporting experienced clinicians; learning about autism and how it is assessed, being mentored by the manager to develop your administration skills.

Your main duties will include:

  • Responding to client enquiries and requests for information from other external sources;
  • Using of the charity’s database and spreadsheets to record and log client records and appointments;
  • Administrating the pre-diagnostic screening process;
  • Ensuring client information and all records are up to date;
  • Delivering high quality support.


As part of the Apprenticeship you are expected to be working towards your Level 3 in Business Administration supported through a local college.

  • IT literate (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook, Zoom, Microsoft teams) (E)
  • Experience around autistic spectrum condition (D)
  • An analytical approach (D)
