Autism Alert Card

Do you or a person you know have an Autism Spectrum Condition?

If so, you may have already been in a position where you have had to explain the nature of autism and its associated behaviours. Our credit card sized autism alert card can be carried at all times and can be displayed if you find yourself in a situation where you cannot easily give an explanation about the condition.

It will also assist the police and emergency services to identify that they are dealing with someone who has autism.

Autism Alert CardThe card will carry Autism Anglia’s logo as well as the Essex Police and Suffolk & Norfolk Constabularies crests so they will be easily identifiable to the emergency services.

We are delighted that we can offer this card free of charge and help raise awareness of autism amongst the public and emergency services. The cards also give some simple advice, the cardholder’s name and space for two emergency contact details.

“We use the card when we go out on trips, it has improved our confidence as parents to go out and about more frequently”

In addition to the card, Autism Anglia is providing information, advice and training to the Police and other emergency services, to give them a better understanding of autism. The information we provide is informative and gives practical advice for realistic situations.

"100% of people already issued with a card said that they would recommend it to others"
