"Our son is now well into his third year with the Essex Autistic Society (now Autism Anglia). He enjoys a full range of structured activities at the Jigsaw Study Centre, and elsewhere in the community at large. His care package has been tailor-made to meet his needs, and is completely flexible and so able to meet challenges and adapt to changes. Our son has no speech, so Makaton symbols and TEACCH boards abound.

"His support is provided by a dedicated team, (double meaning intended), and we can say that this comprises everything which he, and we, could wish for. He has days full of meaningful and appropriate activities and an active social life in the evenings and at weekends. We see him frequently, but he is living independently, which is both good for him and the rest of the family.
