Charity Golf Day

Our sixth annual Charity Golf Day took place on Tuesday 18th May 2010 at Channels Golf Club, Chelmsford.

The 11th hole proved slightly more of a challenge than usual, as trick shot specialist Jeremy Dale was there to challenge each golfer with a ridiculously high tee!

There was also some added interest at the 17th, where a brand new SEAT car was placed to tantalise those teeing off - anyone scoring a hole in one would have won the car!

The Old Codgers
The Young Pretenders

The winning team were the Old Codgers with an amazing 132 points!!  The runners up were the Young Pretenders with 119 points and third place went to Natwest with 115 points.

Winner of the individual stableford was Terry Caton from the winning team the Old Codgers, who played brilliantly and won 44 points!

Jeremy DaleCongratulations to all our winners!

All teams enjoyed breakfast and 18 holes of golf, followed by an afternoon buffet and barbeque, prize-giving and raffle.

We would like to thank Jeremy Dale for providing the trick shot challenge, and also an amazing display of golfing trickery before the evening dinner - www.jeremydale.com
