Supermarket Collections

We now have a number of dates during the year for collections outside local supermarkets. Volunteering for collections is both rewarding and fun, especially if you collect with a friend!

Please see the Supermarket Collection Page for current dates.

5 BikesCycle Rides

In 2010 Autism Anglia's very own IT Manager Dan McCullagh plus four friends are going to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats in 9 days, starting on 20th June!

If you would like to keep up with their journey please join their Facebook page 5 Bikes and their Riders.

Of course, all their efforts are with the ultimate aim of raising money for Autism Anglia, and they hope to reach a target of £5000! You can sponsor the boys online at www.bmycharity.com/aalejog

Team Etna

This year super cyclist David Pomphrett has formed 'Team Etna' - a group of ten young people who plan to cycle from Colchester to Mount Etna and then climb it - all to raise money for Autism Anglia!

Team EtnaPlease show your support by joining their Facebook group Team Etna 2010!

This isn't the first time David has put himself through a physical challenge for Autism Anglia. On 21st August 2009, he embarked on a cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats, all in aid of Autism Anglia!

David and his support team raised over £2000.00 for the charity! To find out about his exploits, please see our news pages here and here.

If you would like to set yourself a similar challenge, we would love to hear from you!

Other Community Fundraising Challenges & Events

In 2008 Mia Bradley took part in a 3 peaks charity walk and she has fundraised for Autism Anglia again this year with a London to Paris cycle ride over four days.  Mia and her husband Mikk were the support team to nine cyclists, all Waltham Cross based work colleagues of Mikk, leaving Greenwich on Wednesday 17th June and arriving in Paris three days later.

Badminton Rally

Supporter Dael Brookes organised a 2 hour non-stop badminton rally with friends at his school in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire on 8th March 2009.  They raised over £30 for Autism Anglia!
