There are a number of running events to choose from during 2010 - a few of them are listed below to whet your appetite!

Bespak Grand East Anglian Run - May 2010

The Grand East Anglian Run (GEAR) is a 10k road race held every year in the town of King's Lynn, Norfolk.  In 2010, the race is being held on Sunday 2nd May at 10.30am.  This is a great opportunity for energetic supporters to raise money for Autism Anglia, and additional prizes are also offered!

Bupa London 10,000 - May 2010

This 10k race takes the course likely to be used for marathons during the 2012 London Olympics, and will be held on 31st May (Bank Holiday Monday).

ASICS British 10k London Run - July 2010

The 2010 British 10k London Run is the tenth of its kind - why not celebrate by booking a place and running in this 10k road race, passing through historic London streets and famous landmarks!  It takes place on Sunday 11th July at 9.35am.

adidas Women's 5k Challenge - September 2010 This event is for women of all ages and abilities.  The race takes place in London's Hyde Park with over 20,000 women taking part each year.  Over the past three years a number of ladies have taken part in the Challenge in aid of Autism Anglia raising over £1200 for the charity. Last year a team of runners from Autism Anglia took part along with two of our regular supporters, raising well over £500!

London Marathon

Unfortunately Autism Anglia does not have any charity places for the London Marathon; however we are always interested to hear from anyone who has their own place. We can support you by offering you an Autism Anglia T-shirt, providing Sponsorship forms and helping you publicise the event – just let us know!
