Welcome to Autism Anglia
Autism Anglia is the new name for The Essex Autistic Society (EAS) and NACHA (Norfolk Autistic Community Housing Association) and now we are pleased to say the Norfolk Autistic Society as well! The Essex Autistic Society took over the running of NACHA on 1st March 2008 and following their AGM on 31st March 2008 the new name was formally agreed. Norfolk Autistic Society were officially welcomed into the new charity on 29th August 2008.
With its Head Office in Colchester, Essex, and offices in Dereham
and Norwich, Autism Anglia provides
education, care and support to people with autism from all
across the UK.
Our website includes information about autism; the services
we provide for children and adults with Autistic Spectrum
Disorders (ASD) and the many ways in which you can help us
to continue providing for the future.
Norfolk Autistic Society becomes part of Autism Anglia
We are delighted to announce that the Norfolk Autistic Society have become part of Autism Anglia.
Based in Norwich, the Norfolk Autistic Society provides support and respite care to families who are caring for someone with autism.
It's still early days but we hope to be able to use our combined knowledge and experience to extend the Family Support, Speech & Language and Clinical Psychology services that we can offer in the region.
